National Geographic, Geotourism and Portland what do these things have in common? A want and a need to bring people/tourists’ to small little towns like Portland along the Delaware. To make Portland a destination, a place to visit. To let people know we are here and to come see what we have to offer.
A small group of Portland-er’s from vastly different backgrounds of all ages got together recently with one BIG goal. That goal was to create the best nomination presentation for the National Geographic. Pushing Portland to the front of the pack. Did it work……well we made the newspaper so something is working.
