An audio recording of a Borough Council meeting by the Secretary is done for her assistance in the preparation of the minutes. The recording is placed on the Borough website at the direction of Borough Council for public convenience. The recording does not constitute minutes of the Borough Council and is not the official record of the Borough Council proceedings. The Secretary’s minutes are the official record of the Borough Council’s proceedings. The audio recording may be retained or destroyed at the Borough Council’s discretion.
Most audio recordings will consist of two parts. The first part being the main portion if the meeting the second portion would be the remaining recording after executive session. This could vary from time to time. Recordings will be removed from the website after 60 calendar days.
