Welcome to Portland, PA! We are a small and unique town filled with history. While you are in our area, we encourage you to visit the Portland Pokey on Main St right in front of Fuhrer’s. The 16-by-19-foot structure’s first floor housed council chambers and, below that, a one-room pokey. Our town sits right along the Delaware River where many residents and visitors take the opportunity to tube, kayak, fish or just enjoy the views from the middle of the river using the Portland Walking Bridge.
