In 2014 the Portland Borough Council adopted a new Comprehensive Plan to better fit our community and the needs of our residents. The new plan took the Council approximately 12 months to complete and was funded by a grant that the Borough received.
Our Borough received the Community Plan of the Year in 2014 from the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission for our Comprehensive Plan.
