DRAFT Portland Neighborhood and Redevelopment Plan 5-2019
The Portland Neighborhood and Redevelopment Plan was shared at a public meeting May 15 at the William Pensyl Social Hall, 111 State St. Thank you to all who attended.
The plan lays out a strategy for the future growth of the borough with near-term, mid-term and long-term projects. The meeting provided an opportunity for residents to comment on the plan as well as ask questions. Thank you to the 21 residents who attended and commented on the plan.
The plan was presented by Triad Associates of Vineland, N.J., who was engaged to develop a strategy for the Borough.
The plan is available for review on the Borough website and comments can be made through June 24 to Council President, Stephanie Steele. Please email them to portlandboroughpa@gmail.com, ATTN: Stephanie
The Borough Council will have a brief presentation from Triad Associates at it’s July 1st meeting with the final plan. The final plan can then be adopted by the Borough Council.
